Klaviyo Email Marketing Specialist – Scale Revenue for Premium Pet Brand

We care deeply about pets, and we want our marketing to feel like it comes from real pet lovers—not a faceless corporation. We are looking for a partner who understands that emotional bond and can turn it into a thriving community. The Mission: Currently, email contributes 8% of our revenue. Your goal is to grow this to 15% within 6 months. We want to turn email into a consistent revenue channel through storytelling and smart strategy, rather than relying on aggressive discounts that hurt the brand. Your Core Responsibilities: -Full Klaviyo Ownership: Audit, rebuild, and constantly optimize our entire email ecosystem. You own the flows and the strategy. -List Growth & Capture: Design and implement non-intrusive ways to grow our community (like high-converting pop-ups or lead magnets) while maintaining a premium brand experience. -Human-Centric Campaigns: Build 2–3 campaigns per week that balance sales with genuine storytelling. We want our subscribers to look forward to opening our emails. -Advanced Segmentation: Use data to speak specifically to different types of pet parents based on their behavior and purchase history. -Creative Execution: Write "pawsitive" and engaging copy and design mobile-first emails that match our visual identity perfectly. -Data & Optimization: Run A/B tests on everything from subject lines to send times. You should be obsessed with improving open rates and conversions. What We Are Looking For (The "A-Player"): -Proven Klaviyo Expert: You must have a deep, technical understanding of Klaviyo and a track record of scaling revenue for other e-commerce brands. -The "Pet Person" Heart: You intuitively understand the bond people have with their dogs. You can write in a way that feels warm, authentic, and expert. -Proactive Mindset: You don't wait for a task list. You come to us with ideas for new flows, loyalty concepts, and seasonal strategies. -Bonus Points: Experience integrating SMS marketing alongside email strategies to create a seamless customer journey. Technical Requirements: -Expert-level Klaviyo skills (Flows, advanced segmentation, and deliverability). -Strong portfolio of high-converting, beautiful email designs. -Ability to demonstrate concrete results (e.g., "Increased Brand X's email revenue from X% to Y%"). Collaboration & Culture: You’ll work closely with our Founder and Store Manager. We value a commercial mindset balanced with a creative heart.
