In this position, you'll play a critical behind-the-scenes role in ensuring the smooth processing of healthcare claims, prior authorizations, and clinical adjudication tasks. What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be entrusted with a variety of meaningful tasks that directly impact patient care and operational excellence. Here's what your day-to-day work will involve:
- Claims Processing & Data Management: Accurately enter, verify, and maintain large datasets related to healthcare claims, prior authorizations, and clinical adjudication tasks. You'll work with complex information systems to ensure data integrity and timely processing.
- Prior Authorization (PA) Support: Assist in the prior authorization workflow by processing documentation, checking eligibility, and ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and streamline operations.
- Enterprise Requirement Determination: Participate in determining enterprise requirements for various projects, contributing your analytical insights to improve processes and system functionality.
- Clinical Adjudication Tasks: Support clinical adjudication activities by reviewing claims, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring accurate processing according to established protocols.
- Root Cause Analysis: Collaborate with team members to investigate and identify the root causes of override issues, documentation errors, or processing delays. Your analytical abilities will help us implement lasting solutions.
- CAPAS Operations Support: Contribute to the Carrier Catalog offerings within the CAPAS (Carrier PA System) operations. This includes incorporating progressive enhancements into all operational elements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Member Data Transition: Support the implementation of patient PA documents throughout the Clinical overview portion of member statistics transition processes, ensuring continuity of care and accurate record-keeping.
- Project Deliverables: Work on branch projects and PA-related initiatives, delivering high-quality work within established timelines while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Strategic Thinking: Apply logical reasoning and proven analytical methods to address CAPAS-related tasks and projects. You'll be expected to identify potential risks or concerns and articulate them clearly to stakeholders.

- Database Query Skills: Ability to run queries in RxClaim or Data Warehouse environments. Experience with SQL or similar query languages is a plus.
- MS Access Proficiency: Experience using Microsoft Access databases for data management, reporting, or analysis.
- Healthcare Industry Knowledge: Understanding of clinical adjudication processes, prior authorization procedures, and healthcare terminology.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Proven ability to think strategically, apply logical reasoning, and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
