Overview
The Internal Project Manager is responsible for coordinating planning managing and monitoring projects from inception through closure ensuring they are completed on time within scope and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Assist with ensuring project results have an articulated scope with quantifiable business benefit
- Apply basic best practices, project management methodologies, project documentation and tools, and market trends
- Document the stakeholder's success metrics and criteria for projects
- Coordinate and facilitate project meetings
- Ensure project progresses on schedule, within budget, and in line with accepted requirements
- Assist with defining and administering project charters and plans that specify goals, strategy, scheduling, and staffing
- Prepare project status reports and keep all stakeholders informed of project status and related issues and risks
- Deliver timely and effective updates to all identified audiences
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Practical experience with Microsoft Operating systems and products
- Oral and written communication skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
- Organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Collaborative skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
- Demonstrated ability to operate at the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and forthrightness
- Ability to develop and use engaging, informative and compelling presentation methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate and mobilize team members and business partners
- Business and technology acumen
- Sharp, fast learner with technology curiosity and aptitude
- Knowledge of project management practices
- Up to 10% travel time required
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
