Financial Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis

Fox Corporation is a prominent media company that produces and distributes content across various leading brands. They are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join their Financial Planning & Analysis team, where the analyst will prepare reports and conduct financial analysis for management reporting, budgeting, and forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of a weekly report for senior management
• Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management and other stakeholders
• Prepare, consolidate, and analyze the company’s monthly and quarterly financial results, including variance reporting
• Help prepare quarterly board and audit committee packages
• Aid in the review and analysis of financials during the monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning processes
• Provide analysis and support on an ad hoc basis
• Help with the ongoing Financial Planning & Analysis Enterprise Planning implementation

Skills

• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• 0-3+ years of work experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft packages (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• Close attention to detail and organization
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects
• Ability to learn new systems implemented
• Strong written and communication skills
• Quick learner who is both motivated to work independently and a team player
• Self-motivated to work efficiently in a hybrid work environment
• CPA candidate
• Previous experience with database management
