We're a dynamic and innovative organization that values diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we're passionate about creating a workplace culture that's inclusive, supportive, and empowering. **Job Summary** As an Experienced Quality Assurance Manager, you'll be responsible for leading our FSQA teams in external and arenaflex-owned meat and dairy plants, driving quality and safety initiatives, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You'll work closely with our plant new companies and grassroots QMS improvement teams to develop and implement quality and safety frameworks and strategies. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and implement FSQA frameworks and strategies to drive quality and safety initiatives across arenaflex-owned meat and dairy plants * Drive occurrence management and investigation, ensuring timely and effective resolution of quality and safety issues * Ensure administrative compliance across arenaflex-owned meat and dairy plants, including adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards * Drive FSQA teams across different offices, ensuring effective communication and collaboration * Investigate reports to identify consistency drives, utilizing business analysis to inform future state of the manufacturing program * Work with direct reports to provide precise and timely reporting/escalation of issues and metrics to the QC VP and other manufacturing partners * Build business continuity and emergency management programs to ensure minimal disruption to our operations * Conduct internal audits, inspections, and testing of the HO and Site FSQ Management Frameworks to ensure adherence and viability **Requirements** * Working knowledge of plant cycles and regulatory requirements, including FDA, USDA, and local government agencies * Experience working with food handling processes, including microbe observation, CAPA, Vehicle, FSIS, FSMS, and other essential projects * Experience working in food production offices, USDA-approved * Experience working with external certification bodies, providers, external service providers, and consulting groups * Experience supporting and working with reviews at all levels of the organization, including administrative, GFSI, animal welfare, fit, and other projects * Experience with quality frameworks to drive continuous improvement, including 6-sigma, first-time quality, and SPC * Leadership experience and ability to work with all levels of the organization **Work Environment** * The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in an manufacturing environment with moving equipment, wet or humid conditions, and varying temperatures, including cold or chilled processes * Health and safety are paramount, including proper use of PPE and adherence to all guest protocols within each office * The position is remote, with direct reports located throughout the US, including TX, KS, IN, GA, Dad, NE (other beef office future state), and AR (periodic workspace visits) **Benefits and Advantages** * Competitive compensation package, including bonus opportunities for exceptional performance * Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) match, stock buy plan, paid maternity and parental leave, PTO, and multiple health plans * Opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative organization that values diversity, equity, and inclusion * Collaborative and supportive work environment with a team of experienced professionals * Professional development opportunities, including training and education programs **Equal Opportunity Employer** arenaflex is an Equal Opportunity Employer - By Decision.
