Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our growing Service Department at arenaflex. This is a fully remote position that offers you the opportunity to work from the comfort of your home while representing one of the most innovative insurance agencies in the industry.
As a CSR at arenaflex, you will be the primary point of contact for our existing policyholders, responsible for maintaining the highest levels of retention and customer satisfaction across our book of business. Your expertise in servicing auto, home, and other personal lines policies will be crucial in building lasting relationships with our clients and ensuring they have the coverage they need to protect what matters most.

Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Client Inquiry Management: Intelligently intake and triage existing client inquiries via phone, email, and SMS, ensuring each interaction is handled with care and urgency.
- Resolution Excellence: Drive complete, efficient, and professional resolutions for every client inquiry, maintaining our reputation for exceptional service.
- Platform Utilization: Expertly navigate our internal CRM systems as well as multiple carrier portal systems from our major carrier partners to access policy information, process changes, and facilitate transactions.
- Cross-Sell Opportunities: Identify and convert cross-sell opportunities by understanding each client's unique insurance needs and recommending appropriate coverage additions.
- Retention Focus: Proactively identify and follow up on key retention opportunities to ensure our clients remain protected and satisfied with their coverage.
- Process Development: Assist in the development of processes and playbooks for the CSR team, contributing to our goal of standardized excellence across all interactions.
- System Improvement: Work collaboratively with our internal product and operations teams to enhance our proprietary systems and processes, ensuring a best-in-class onboarding and customer experience.
- Metrics Tracking: Monitor and optimize on key service metrics, including first response time, resolution time, customer satisfaction (CSAT), retention rates, and escalations.
- Policy Servicing: Handle policy modifications, endorsements, billing inquiries, and claims assistance for auto, home, and other personal lines policies.
- Client Education: Provide clear, informative explanations of coverage options, policy terms, and insurance concepts to empower clients to make informed decisions.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Active P&C Insurance License: You must hold a valid Property & Casualty insurance license in good standing. This is a non-negotiable requirement for this position.
- Personal Lines Experience: A minimum of multiple years of experience servicing personal lines auto and home policies is required. You should be familiar with the nuances of various policy types and coverage options.
- Customer Service Background: Multiple years of experience handling customer service calls or experience in a call center environment is essential. You should be comfortable managing high-volume interactions while maintaining quality.
- Cross-Selling Experience: Demonstrated experience identifying and converting cross-sell opportunities to increase policy coverage and client value.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts in clear, understandable terms.
- Organization & Multitasking: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, handle competing demands, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Client-Focused Approach: Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and creating long-lasting relationships built on trust and reliability.
- Technology Proficiency: Tech-forward mindset with experience working in technology companies or environments that utilize modern CRM and communication tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a remote or work-from-home call center environment
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (verbal and written) – this is a significant plus as we serve a diverse client base
- Familiarity with major insurance carrier systems including Progressive, Allstate, Travelers, Safeco, and similar carriers
- Experience with proprietary CRM systems and willingness to learn new platforms quickly
- Basic understanding of insurance underwriting principles and rating factors
- Track record of exceeding customer satisfaction metrics

Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package that recognizes your experience and performance:
- On-Target Earnings: $40,000 - $80,000 annually, consisting of a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission opportunities.
