**Experienced Part-Time Data Entry Clerk – Remote Opportunity with arenaflex**

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Part-Time Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a remote basis. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a vital role in updating our resident services database, Apricot, with demographic and household information. If you have a passion for data entry, a strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Job Summary:** This is a part-time, remote position with 15 hours per month. The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for updating our resident services database, Apricot, with demographic and household information. Although some data entry and Excel skills are required, training will be provided so the team member can confidently complete the work once fully trained. The main task is running reports/extracting data from Property Management system, RealPage, and then making demographic and household updates to residents' records in Apricot. There is flexibility to do the work remotely, at hours most convenient to the clerk; however, to optimize the work, the 15 hours would need to be served during a condensed one-week period – with approximately 30 days between each time served. This will provide enough time to capture changes in status that need to be updated in Apricot. In-person training and a computer will be provided. **Essential Functions:** * Extract/run reports from databases * Organize and manage Excel spreadsheets * Update former resident and household records * Enter and import current records * Ensure that 25-30 demographic data points and 3 indicators per participant are updated * Be a good data steward; keep data accurate, secure and private * Perform other related duties as assigned **Requirements:** * Education: + High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. A demonstration of relevant work experience along with a combination of education will be accepted, in lieu of a diploma. * Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: + Data entry experience preferred but not required + Basic Excel skills including ability to open, close, format, sort, and navigate a spreadsheet are required. Ability to quickly learn other functions during training is required. + Apricot and Real Page experience is a plus, but not required + Detail oriented + Ability to accurately capture and enter data in a timely manner + Organized **Physical Job Requirements:** * Able to remain in a stationary (standing or seated) position more than half the time * May need to move about the office(s) less than half the time * May need to kneel, crawl, crouch down less than half the time * Must be able to regularly maneuver (lift, move, carry, slide, etc.) up to 10 pounds * Able to operate equipment/machinery that requires the constant use of hands/fingers/wrists (ex.:'s: typing, filing, etc.) more than half the time * Able to spend more than half the time viewing computer monitors **Travel Requirements:** Training will be in-person at arenaflex's main office (2311 Huntington Avenue, Alexandria, VA 22303). The individual should be able to travel to the office for this 1-day training.
