**Key Responsibilities:**
• **Claims Management:** Contact payers to obtain medical claims status, follow up on denials, and resolve partial payments. Verify, adjust, and update Accounts Receivable (A/R) records according to correspondence received from insurance companies.
• **Interoffice Communication:** Facilitate communication with internal teams to identify and resolve error and denial trends, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient claim processing.
• **Credit Balances and Refunds:** Research credit balances and initiate refunds as required, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with arenaflex policies.
• **Documentation and Reporting:** Document all activity in customer's computer account, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. Work assigned RBCO reports, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• **Customer Service:** Answer Accounts Receivable phone inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• **Collaboration and Support:** Assist other PACs with questions or collection needs, demonstrating a positive and cooperative attitude in working and communicating with individuals at all levels of the organization.
**Requirements:**
• **Education:** High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• **Insurance Qualifications:** Past performance shows solid evidence of insurance qualifications and guidelines, demonstrating a strong understanding of medical billing and insurance regulations.
• **Communication Skills:** Knowledge of telephone etiquette and adequate oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with payers, insurance companies, and internal teams.
• **Multitasking:** Shows effective multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• **Attitude and Teamwork:** Positive and cooperative attitude in working and communicating with individuals at all levels of the organization, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
