From forecasting and funding to tracking and reporting on projects, from operational approaches to resource management, Business Operations has visibility and involvement in all aspects of the organization. **About the Role** The Commitment Analysis team is seeking a Lead Investigation Specialist who will be a tremendous addition to our team. We partner with various teams across the organization to transform data into information, information into insights, and insights into strategic business decisions that steer the essential course of the company. In this position, you will lead the team in its reporting plan and data strategy. Organizing professionals to build tooling and communicate with our partners, as well as the broader arenaflex universe, you will be instrumental in driving the use of analysis as a critical value driver across our organization. **Key Responsibilities** As a Lead Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for driving our data analytics initiatives and ensuring that our business leaders have the insights they need to make informed decisions. Your key responsibilities will include:

Business Performance Reporting & Visualization

You will serve as the primary partner for cross-functional partners to understand the performance of our platforms. When a metric is ahead or behind expectations, you will dive in to drive meaningful, actionable insights that help the business performance improve or double down on success. This requires a deep understanding of our business metrics and the ability to communicate complex findings in a clear, compelling manner to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Reporting and Tooling Strategy

You will lead the team in the creation of meaningful and consistent metrics and reporting across all streaming platforms. This involves developing standardized reporting frameworks, ensuring data consistency across different business units, and creating dashboards that provide real-time visibility into business performance.

Business Intelligence Execution

You will be driving reporting for especially large-scale data. Act as an expert for professionals in the team and collaborate with Data Engineering and Engineering in designing and building performant ETLs, intermediate tables, and beautiful and fast Tableau and Looker dashboards. You will be responsible for ensuring that our BI infrastructure is scalable, efficient, and delivers the performance needed to support our growing data needs.

Creation of a Single Source of Truth

Collaborate with our Governance team and bring together analysts and partners from across the team to define and normalize the metrics by which we assess product performance. This critical initiative will ensure that everyone in the organization is working from the same data definitions, eliminating confusion and ensuring consistency in our reporting and analysis.

ETL and Metric Design

Own measurement design and production by defining business requirements, structure and development, and long-term data flexibility. You will work closely with data engineers to design and implement efficient data pipelines that can scale with our growing data volumes while maintaining data quality and integrity.

Collaboration and Communication

Partner closely with business partners to identify and understand what they need to drive decisions, and with other data teams to improve platform capabilities around data modeling, testing platforms, data visualization, and data architecture. You will act as a bridge between technical data teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that analytical solutions meet business needs.

**Required Qualifications** We are looking for candidates who possess the following essential qualifications:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, Economics, Math, or a related degree is required. Advanced degrees are a plus and will be considered favorably.
• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in developing data analysis and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Chartio, or similar platforms. You should have extensive experience with business intelligence tools and be able to create compelling visual representations of complex data.
• Professional Experience: At least 4 years of analytical experience, preferably specifically in analysis engineering or a related field. This experience should demonstrate your ability to handle complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
• Database Proficiency: Strong command of SQL, with some experience in SparkSQL, Hive, or similar big data query languages. You should be comfortable writing complex queries and optimizing them for performance.
• Data Warehouse Experience: Extensive experience with OLAP databases like Snowflake or Redshift. Understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices is essential.
• ETL Development: Experience developing and maintaining advanced tables for reporting through ETLs. You should be familiar with data pipeline architecture and be able to design efficient data flows.
• Project Management: Project and resource management experience, outlining objectives and timelines, and coordinating work across multiple stakeholders. Strong organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python/R or other statistical programming languages. This will enable you to perform advanced data analysis and develop automated reporting solutions.
• Personal Attributes: Extreme drive and passion for delivering exceptional products. You should be self-motivated and have a genuine passion for data analytics and its application to business problems.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal presentation abilities and experience presenting to different audiences. You should be comfortable explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

**Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications would make you an even stronger candidate:

• Industry Knowledge: Experience in the entertainment, streaming, or media industry is highly desirable. Understanding the unique metrics and KPIs relevant to this industry will help you hit the ground running.
• Advanced Analytics: Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning, or statistical modeling is a plus. These skills will enable you to provide more sophisticated insights and recommendations.
