As a Senior Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be part of the Designing Group within the Coordinated Tasks Division. Your primary focus will be on providing Designing support for the maintenance and operation of aircraft and related equipment. You'll work closely with other teams to ensure that our aircraft and parts meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
**What You'll Do**
* Conduct training sessions for Specialists in areas of expertise
* Serve as a mentor to other Engineers
* Lead project teams or facilitate issue resolution
* Collaborate with manufacturers and regulatory specialists to ensure that Designing practices are compliant with industry standards and company manuals
* Develop customized methods and special procedures for repairs, modifications, inspections, and other maintenance activities that are not addressed in existing manuals
* Stay informed about daily airline activities, including areas of responsibility
* Review daily needs based on aircraft/departmental targets and management mandates
* Investigate aircraft/part issues that may cause flight delays or cancellations, significant uses in labor or materials, or breaks in maintenance activities, and determine appropriate corrective actions
* Provide Designing support as needed to restore operational status
* Respond to requests from Maintenance and other airline divisions when specialized support is required to assist with tasks or resolve issues
* Develop activity plans for fleet/multi-fleet and part Designing projects and pursue completion based on evaluated needs
* Collaborate with other airline divisions as needed to ensure effective and efficient execution of Designing practices
* Create Designing documents to implement specialized methods for repairs, modifications, inspections, or other maintenance activities that provide benefits in accordance with aircraft/departmental targets and management mandates
* Maintain knowledge of current and forthcoming regulations that affect areas of responsibility and ensure that all Designing activities maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
* Utilize available resources to enhance levels of technical expertise and practical experience continuously. Also, strive to improve communication skills, time management, and other individual characteristics relevant to maximum effectiveness and efficiency in performing assigned duties
**All You'll Need for Success**
* Least Capabilities: Training and Earlier Professional training
* Four-year certification in Designing field or related Designing license
* 1 year of Designing experience in a related field or 2 years of experience without a degree
* A&P license
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools
* Ability to analyze technical information and make data-driven decisions
* Demonstrated fitness, capacity, and willingness to take on new responsibilities
* Ability to prepare/present presentations that promote recognition of solutions
* Ability to interact with internal and external clients effectively
