Our global presence is a testament to our dedication to innovation and customer satisfaction. **Job Summary** We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Pharmacy Technician to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you'll be responsible for assisting pharmacists, interacting with customers, and providing exceptional patient care. You'll also be involved in data entry, inventory management, and other clerical responsibilities. **Key Responsibilities** * Assist pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, under direct supervision, in accordance with national and federal regulations * Use pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information and process prescriptions * Model and provide a unique and delightful customer experience * Engage customers and patients by greeting them and providing assistance with services and products * Resolve customer issues and answer inquiries to ensure a superb customer experience * Develop strong relationships with most valuable customers * Perform duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, personnel Pharmacist, and Store Supervisor, including using pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug records, filling prescriptions, and verifying medication accuracy * Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow * Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to company rules and procedures regarding pharmacy errors and the quality improvement program * Adhere to the Walgreen Co. Policy regarding exact dispensing during all applicable prescription dispensing activities * Register all related income on assigned cash register, collect and handle coins as required * Take customers to the OTC aisle to assist in finding merchandise * Handle telephone calls that don't require the personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians * Method (correct and resubmit) claims for third-party application prescription services in a timely and efficient manner, and perform other clerical responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager * Assist and support the Pharmacy Department on stock management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of prescription drugs * Maintain knowledge of company asset safety procedures and document claims for warehouse overages (merchandise received, but not billed), shortages (merchandise billed, but not obtained), order mistakes, or broken goods related to Rx capsules * May assist pharmacists in administering medical services, including the collection and proper labeling of blood/urine samples from patients and other medical services as required * Assist the Pharmacy Supervisor and personnel Pharmacist in developing and maintaining strong relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers, through clinical provider detailing and outreach to healthcare agencies, retirement homes, nursing homes, and other forums for reinforcing growth opportunities **Education & Personal Development** * Earn and maintain PTCB Certification through the unique PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration * Attend training and complete PPLs as requested by the manager and acquire continuing education credit * Maintain expertise and knowledge in healthcare and pharmacy, including latest information and developments * Through completion of the arenaflex pharmacy technician apprenticeship program, experience qualifies for 8 (8) college credit hours as recognized by the American Council on Education (ACE) **Basic Qualifications** * Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) * Must have a high school diploma or equivalent **Preferred Qualifications** * Choose to have six months of experience in a retail environment * Choose to have previous work experience with arenaflex * Desire to have desirable math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medicines * Desire to have correct computer skills * Desire to have knowledge of store inventory management * Prefer PTCB certification **Work Environment & Company Culture** * arenaflex is proud to invest in and champion an "earn while you learn" pharmacy technician training program recognized by ASHP & Department of Labor * Our pharmacy technicians enjoy all the tools and support, including the latest technology, to grow their careers and achieve their dreams * arenaflex is committed to providing a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting diversity and inclusion within our team * We offer a range of benefits to our employees, including competitive pay, comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage options, prescription savings, retirement plans, employee stock purchase plan, professional development opportunities, paid time off, education assistance, employee discounts, health programs, and flexible work arrangements **Compensation & Perks** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage options for employees and their families * Prescription savings for employees * Retirement savings plans, including 401(k) plans * Employee stock purchase plan * Professional development opportunities * Paid time off, including vacation days, holidays, and sick leave * Education assistance * Employee discounts on products offered in arenaflex stores * Health programs and resources to support employee well-being * Flexible work arrangements, including part-time and full-time positions **How to Apply** If you're passionate about patient-centric care and data entry, and you're looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity, apply now to join our team at arenaflex.
