We're seeking an experienced and skilled Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist, you'll lead cross-functional projects for both our energy and car business, utilizing data science tools and methods to drive business process improvements and support sales and service procedures. You'll work closely with our team of Information Examiners, Information Designers, AI (ML) Specialists, and Product Directors to create and maintain complex data pipelines, supporting our goal of democratizing information and empowering an information-driven association.
**What You'll Do**
* Contribute to all phases of data science projects, from interpreting complex business issues into data science problems to performing data analysis and visualization, and providing solutions to the business.
* Create and maintain complex data pipelines, supporting our goal in democratizing information and empowering an information-driven association, collaborating with Information Examiners, Information Designers, AI (ML) Specialists, and Product Directors.
* Effectively communicate significant insights to all levels of the organization with varying levels of data science understanding and backgrounds.
* Work closely with leadership, design, and other partners to deliver significant business insights.
* Apply various ML, advanced analysis, and visualization techniques to different datasets across the organization.
**What You'll Bring**
* 2+ years of experience in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Operations Research, Statistics, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Finance, or Design).
* Results-oriented areas of strength with keenness and in-depth data science skills.
* Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the organization.
* A proven history of extracting insights and building ML models, particularly in business analytics (or related) area.
* Uplevel our team's ML capabilities in at least one significant area (e.g., estimation, predictive modeling, discriminant analysis, or Natural Language Processing (NLP)).
* Master in SQL and Python, particularly in standard data science libraries and frameworks like pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, Tensorflow/PyTorch, PySpark, etc.
* Capability in at least one visualization tools, such as Plotly, Streamlit, etc.
* Master in data wrangling and analyzing massive and complex datasets, structured or unstructured.
* Ability to self-start and work independently in an unstructured environment, as well as explore (and bring design to) ambiguity, taking an issue from 0 to 1.
* Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and project management skills, as well as the ability to quickly pivot.
* Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
