**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist to join our team of innovators and dreamers. As a Key Information Researcher, you'll be responsible for directing the creation, implementation, and maintenance of AI and machine learning models that will drive the development of our attractions. You'll work closely with our internal partners to deliver exceptional visitor experiences through intelligent and data-driven systems across Disney Encounters (DX). You'll report to Attractions Functional Innovation and will be part of a dynamic team that's passionate about making a difference.
**Responsibilities**
As a Key Information Researcher, you'll be responsible for:
* Collaborating with our research and development team to drive the development and implementation of AI and machine learning models that will revolutionize the way we interact with our visitors.
* Identifying areas where business issues can be solved creatively by applying AI and machine learning.
* Leading and working with cross-functional teams of data scientists and engineers to execute and scale AI and machine learning solutions that will create extraordinary experiences for our visitors.
* Driving innovation, idea generation, and client communication that will lead to the development of top-tier AI and machine learning platforms.
* Managing functional support and maintenance of AI and machine learning-related products and services delivered by the team.
* Building standard techniques used in everyday tasks and working with specialty units to plan, design, and execute large-scale projects in the AI space.
* Productionizing machine learning algorithms in predictive analytics, clustering, image recognition, NLP, anomaly detection, and other areas, and assessing their performance on real-world datasets.
* Collaborating with other teams to achieve goals in improving system performance and coordinating with existing software practices that produce efficient code, including automated testing, continuous integration, code style consistency, and code reviews.
**Required Capabilities and Abilities**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* 2+ years of experience in Python and predictive modeling, including experience with TensorFlow, SparkMLib, PySpark, Light, MXNet, and other relevant libraries.
* 2+ years of experience in cloud platforms like AWS and GCP.
* Proficiency in SDLC, QA cycles, and Agile programming methodologies.
* Master-level experience in structured and unstructured data (e.g., images, video, text, etc.) and SQL social and non-social datasets.
* 2+ years of experience with Windstream or another data workflow management tool.
* Experience with version control software like GitHub and GitLab, model operations, and CI/CD pipelines.
* Experience in driving discovery processes with partners to identify business requirements and desired outcomes, and a strong ability to communicate complex ideas and solutions.
* Strong systems integration engineering skills, with the ability to transform new technology into business solutions.
**Preferred Capabilities**
While not required, experience in the following areas would be a plus:
* Experience with Docker.
* Experience with containerization frameworks.
* Experience with Kubernetes.
* Experience with cloud platforms in GCP or another cloud platform.
* Experience with Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence.
* Experience with Agile development methodologies.
* Experience with automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
* Experience with data visualization and data quality tools (e.g., Splunk, Plotly, Tableau).
* Experience with audio analysis.
* Experience with text analysis.
**Education**
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is required. A Ph.D. in a related field is a plus.
