**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient data pipelines that support our business needs. As a key member of our data engineering team, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data solutions that drive business growth and improve user experiences.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines using various technologies such as Hive, Voila, Flash, Flink, and Kafka
* Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to understand business requirements and develop data-driven solutions
* Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented code that meets arenaflex's coding standards and best practices
* Work with data governance teams to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements
* Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and contribute to the improvement of our data engineering practices
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data engineering and architecture
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth and development of our data engineering team
**Requirements**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
* 2+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on data engineering and architecture
* Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or Scala)
* Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance principles
* Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
* Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data problems and develop creative solutions
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
* Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on data engineering and architecture
* Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
* Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
* Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
