**Job Summary:**
arenaflex is seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team of data enthusiasts. As a key member of our data engineering team, you'll be responsible for developing software programs, designing database structures, and integrating data from multiple sources to create scalable, repeatable, and secure data pipelines. Your expertise in ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) procedures, database management, and data analytics will enable us to make data-driven decisions and drive business growth.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop software programs that process, store, and serve data to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives
* Design and develop data systems and pipelines to organize, acquire, and standardize data for generating insights and addressing reporting needs
* Write ETL procedures, design database structures, and develop tools for real-time and offline analytic processing
* Develop data pipelines that are scalable, repeatable, and secure
* Troubleshoot software programs and procedures for data consistency and integrity
* Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring adherence to data best practices and accessibility requirements
* Collaborate with data scientists and other stakeholders to outline data requirements for the design, development, and deployment of new solutions
* Effectively resolve issues and roadblocks as they occur
* Interact with internal and external partners and/or managers to communicate semi-complex data-related information associated with assigned activities
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* Minimum 2 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong understanding of SQL and data analytics
* Experience setting up and maintaining key relationships with internal (colleagues, business partners, and leadership) and external (business community, customers, and vendors) stakeholders in a matrix business environment
* Experience reading and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive outcome development and solution discovery
* Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state)
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience with REST API development
* Experience with Azure software deployment
* Experience in Azure technology, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks using Python or Scala, App Services, Azure Data Lake, Azure Functions, Event Hubs, Event Grids, and Logic App
* Experience in building Azure DevOps pipelines to enable CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaaS), and automation
