**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Designing group, responsible for planning and executing ETL/ELT data pipelines, data set mapping/tables/perspectives, and building batch processes using Apache Wind current for various projects. As a key member of our team, you'll collaborate with our Studios or Project Innovation colleagues to gather data requirements, design and implement data pipelines, and ensure data quality and integrity across multiple environments.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements, design, and implement data pipelines, and ensure data quality and integrity across multiple environments
* Plan and execute ETL/ELT data pipelines using Apache Wind current, Snowflake, and other cloud-based technologies
* Design and implement data set mapping/tables/perspectives, and build batch processes using Apache Wind current
* Work with data lakes, data warehouses, and application data sets to ensure data consistency and accuracy
* Participate in driving best practices around data designing software development processes
* Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and maintain data visualizations and reports
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and recommend new tools and techniques to improve data management and analysis
**Essential Qualifications**
* 2+ years of experience with SQL and data modeling
* 2+ years of experience planning, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines
* 2+ years of experience with cloud-based technologies, ideally AWS and S3
* 3+ years of experience in a data designing role
* Strong understanding of data lakes, data warehouses, and application data sets
* Experience with Apache Wind current, Databricks, and other big data technologies
* 2+ years of experience working with Gitlab/Github and Docker
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with Wind current, Gitlab, Snowflake, and other cloud-based technologies
* Graduate degree in Computer Science, Science, Engineering, or a related field
* Experience in the streaming, media, or digital marketing industry
* Strong understanding of data visualization and reporting tools, such as Looker and PostgreSQL
