**Job Summary**
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our Information Designing group, responsible for planning and executing ETL/ELT data pipelines, designing and implementing data set mapping/tables/perspectives, and building batch processes using Apache Wind current for various projects. As a key member of our team, you'll collaborate with our Studios and Project Innovation colleagues to drive data-driven decision-making and innovation across the organization.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Collaborate with our Studios and Project Innovation teams to gather data requirements, design and implement ETL/ELT data pipelines, and develop data set mapping/tables/perspectives
* Design and implement batch processes using Apache Wind current for various projects
* Work with our data engineering team to develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security
* Collaborate with our data science team to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and innovation
* Participate in driving best practices around data engineering software development processes
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to improve data engineering processes and tools
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* 2+ years of experience with SQL, including data modeling, querying, and optimization
* 2+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines
* 2+ years of experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS and S3
* 3+ years of experience in a data engineering role, with a strong understanding of data pipelines, data warehousing, and data lakes
* Experience with Apache Wind current, Databricks, and Snowflake
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, including cloud-based solutions
* Strong understanding of data engineering principles, including data quality, integrity, and security
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* Experience in the streaming, media, or digital marketing industry
* Experience with Gitlab, Docker, and PostgreSQL
* Experience with data visualization tools, including Looker and Tableau
* Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies
