You will lead a team of data experts in developing and implementing cutting-edge data solutions that drive business growth and innovation. Your expertise in cloud-based data analytics and science will enable you to design and deliver data solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead and coach a team of data experts in developing and implementing cutting-edge data solutions * Provide technical direction and mentorship to team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data researchers, business analysts, data engineers, and IT experts, to develop comprehensive data solutions * Design and develop data models and reporting structures that meet the evolving needs of our customers * Drive the development and implementation of data analytics and science solutions that drive business growth and innovation * Ensure the integrity, security, and performance of data products and reporting solutions by collaborating with stages, data architecture, and operations teams * Define and implement the long-term technical strategy for data analytics and science, incorporating emerging technologies and industry trends * Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and evaluate their relevance to arenaflex * Cultivate a collaborative environment that encourages information sharing and expertise development * Lead technical authority meetings, lunch and learn sessions, and other community-building activities within the data engineering community * Establish and uphold data quality principles and best practices, executing processes for data validation, cleansing, and accuracy * Assess and select suitable data analytics and science tools to address business needs, leading requirement meetings and collaborating closely with stages and infrastructure teams during assessment and implementation * Partner with engineering and development teams to create and maintain documentation for data analytics processes, reporting structures, and data models * Monitor the performance of data analytics and science solutions and provide technical leadership to drive security and agility of data products and reporting solutions * Implement measures to streamline performance and investigate issues * Provide critical insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making at the organizational level * Recommend infrastructure upgrades to support business growth and advancing technology needs * Utilize arenaflex services, such as Azure SQL DW (Neurotransmitter), ADLS, Azure Event Hub, Universe, Data bricks, Delta-Lake, to enhance and accelerate delivery of our data products and services * Develop large data and NoSQL solutions by creating adaptable data processing stages to drive high-value insights to the organization **Requirements** * Proven track record of at least 15+ years of active experience in data analytics and science roles * 5+ years of experience in leadership or senior roles, demonstrating the ability to effectively guide and lead a team * 5+ years of experience working with cloud technologies, such as ADLS, Azure Databricks, Azure, Azure Neural Network, Universe DB, DBT, and other big data innovations * Demonstrated advanced proficiency in data analytics tools, languages, ML, and frameworks (e.g., Conos, PowerBI, SQL, Python, R) * Capability in data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools, to effectively communicate insights * Demonstrated ability in working with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, to design and implement adaptable and efficient data analytics solutions * In-depth understanding and practical application of Lakehouse design standards, combining the best of data lakes and data warehouses for effective and adaptable data management * High-level SQL skills.
