**The Customer Listening Team**
Our Customer Listening Team is responsible for collecting and analyzing customer feedback from over 5 million surveys annually across consumer, business, and service provider segments. This data is used to inform business decisions and drive growth through our Voice of the Customer (VOC) method. As a Senior Statistics Architect, you'll work closely with our Utility Teams, Product and Process Owners, and Agile Teams in Technology to design, build, and deploy a robust data architecture that enables data-driven decision-making.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Collaborate with Utility Teams to outline, design, and capture business needs and requirements
* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Voice of the Customer methods and leverage this knowledge to inform data architecture and analytics solutions
* Design and build robust data models to support high-performance data processing and standardized metric definitions
* Develop and implement large-scale data analytics and batch/real-time analytical solutions using transformational technologies (Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python)
* Provide guidance on optimizing data processing and analytics workflows to drive efficiency and performance
* Develop and maintain software programs, testing, and automation tools to support data analytics and VOC method
* Proactively identify and automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and productivity
* Collaborate with colleagues from GSN and AET to prioritize, define, increase, and review statistics for various use cases as part of the VOC cease-to-quit technique
**Essential Qualifications**
* 3+ years of hands-on experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, Shell Scripting languages, Development Life Cycle Management, and Troubleshooting for data-driven tasks
* Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Dating Managers, and Agile Teams
* Experience with Agile methodologies, including small increments of product delivery at regular intervals to business groups
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement data-driven solutions
* Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data analytics
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
* Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their application in data analytics
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
* Certification in data science, data engineering, or related fields
