**Job Responsibilities:**
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:
* Gathering, organizing, purifying, and controlling large-scale, high-dimensional data from various sources using tools like PySpark and advanced SQL.
* Building automated, adaptable, repeatable, and integrated analysis involving current large data formats in data ecosystems, such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Google BigQuery.
* Applying refined analysis techniques (data mining, statistical analysis, AI) to identify patterns and reveal opportunities in social data.
* Leading campaign, product, satisfied, and crowd analysis for organizational needs. Create and track key metrics to measure success.
* Collaborating with Designing and Product groups to complete data projects, contributing to product discovery, design, build, and QA.
* Developing and maintaining data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
* Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve data analysis and visualization capabilities.
**Requirements:**
* 2 years of analytical experience or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related quantitative fields.
* Strong understanding of data analysis and visualization tools, including PySpark, Python, R, and SQL.
* Proficiency in data investigation and representation tools.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple priorities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience in applying supervised and unsupervised learning methods, such as direct and indirect regression, decision trees, or k-means clustering to determine, validate, and measure outcomes from data.
* Experience in reporting data requirements, rules, and assumptions.
* Experience in data mining in distributed systems like Databricks, Google BigQuery, and Snowflake.
* Experience in controlling large, exchange-level datasets and deciphering data patterns from different dissimilar data sources.
* An interest in music or potentially media industry data!
* Knowledge of music real-time features (Spotify, Apple, Amazon Music, YouTube), social media platforms (TikTok, FB/Instagram), and new innovations (digital assistants/voice).
* Graduate degree in a quantitative field, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related quantitative fields.
