**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join our Trust and Security team as the Senior Director, Global Head, Adversarial Abuse/Analytics. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to prevent and mitigate online abuse, while driving business growth and innovation. You will lead a team of experts in adversarial abuse and analytics, working closely with cross-functional partners to identify and address emerging threats and opportunities.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Lead the Adversarial Abuse team responsible for identifying and eliminating malicious actors attempting account takeovers, spam, commitment abuse, and other forms of online abuse
* Develop and implement strategies to prevent and mitigate online abuse, working closely with cross-functional partners to identify and address emerging threats and opportunities
* Collaborate with the Strategy Development team to create policies and procedures using account, social, and content signals to describe harmful behavior
* Drive business growth and innovation by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to improve the user experience and reduce online abuse
* Manage accelerations with tight timelines to develop and implement new tools and strategies to prevent online abuse
* Foster strong relationships with key cross-functional partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration
* Develop and maintain a culture of innovation and experimentation, encouraging creativity and risk-taking among team members
* Provide leadership and guidance to team members, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management
* Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in online abuse and analytics, applying this knowledge to drive business growth and innovation
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics)
* 4+ years of experience in a related field, including 2+ years of experience in adversarial abuse and analytics
* Strong understanding of online abuse and analytics, including data analysis and visualization
* Experience working with large datasets and machine learning models
* Strong leadership and management skills, including experience leading cross-functional teams
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Postgraduate education in a related field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics)
* 2+ years of experience in investigation of large datasets and anomaly detection
* Experience or demonstrated interest in adversarial abuse and analytics
* Strong knowledge of SQL, R, and Matlab
* Excellent impacting and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
* Strong business judgment, critical thinking, and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a rapidly changing industry and manage ambiguity while minimizing uncertainty through quantitative insights
