**Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Engineer in our Security team, you'll be responsible for:
* Collaborating with Security Sales and Google Cloud teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, resolve client technical and compliance issues, and develop strategies to overcome technical blockers.
* Demonstrating and showcasing the benefits of Google Cloud Security products in client and partner environments.
* Supporting Google Cloud Security opportunities and relationships, owning technical aspects of solutions, and delivering technical presentations, product and solution briefings, proofs-of-concept, and demos to clients, partners, and stakeholders.
* Planning and delivering product messaging to highlight our solutions' value proposition using techniques such as presentations, product demonstrations, white papers, trial management, and response reports.
* Attending client sites, conferences, and other relevant events where applicable.
**Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
* At least 4 years of experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong understanding of cloud security concepts and technologies.
* Experience in network security (e.g., threat detection, malware analysis, cloud security management, or identity and access management frameworks).
* Strong technical skills, including proficiency in cloud security platforms and tools.
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:
* A graduate degree in a relevant field, such as Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
* Certification in the Cloud or Security industry.
* Experience in conducting security assessments for clients (e.g., threat hunting, malware analysis, cloud security posture management, or SIEM and incident response).
* Knowledge of emerging trends in the network security industry (e.g., ransomware, attack frameworks, zero trust, etc.).
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
