We are currently seeking two highly skilled and detail-oriented Freight Data Entry Clerks to join our team. Job Summary
The Freight Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for processing accounts, determining proper charges, and accurately entering information into our systems. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. This is a fully remote position, but occasional in-office training may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts and determine proper charges
- Accurately enter information into our systems
- Calculate rates, mileage, and overflow charges using a computer calculator and our client systems
- Review accounts and determine their appropriate classification
- Accurately enter information into our systems using internet search engines (e.g., Google) to determine account connections
- Combine multiple accounts into one for our clients' customers
- Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Work to achieve and maintain acceptable rate and quality to meet or exceed customer requirements
- Potentially assist in the training of employees to perform the job
- Be willing to be cross-trained in other departments to meet company daily production commitments
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Complete all required Compliance Training within the scheduled time
- Actively participate in overtime requirements within the scope of company policies and procedures
Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous data entry experience (a plus, but not required)
- Microsoft Office experience (preferred)
- File sharing experience (preferred)
- High-speed internet access
- Strong attention to detail

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of our client systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
