**Job Responsibilities:**
As a Finance & Billing Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
* Responding to incoming calls and emails from customers with billing and finance-related questions, providing accurate and timely resolutions
* Managing and resolving escalated financial issues, including billing discrepancies, payment disputes, credits, and refunds
* Serving as a point of contact for financial inquiries, ensuring full ownership of the issue through to resolution
* Documenting all financial-related customer interactions in Salesforce to ensure accurate records of account history
* Monitoring and responding to the Billing inbox promptly, creating and managing cases to ensure clear documentation and follow-up
* Collaborating cross-functionally with internal departments such as Accounting, Sales, Customer Experience, etc. to provide coordinated support
* Assisting in processing financial adjustments, credits, and compensation in accordance with company policy
* Contributing to onboarding and knowledge-sharing for new Finance & Billing CSRs
* Participating in special projects and initiatives related to the department
* Adhering to financial compliance guidelines and ensuring data accuracy in all transactions
**Requirements:**
* High school diploma or equivalent; training or coursework in accounting or finance is a plus
* 2 or more years in finance, billing, or a customer service role
* Knowledge of financial systems such as Great Plains, NetSuite, and/or Salesforce
* Basic understanding of accounting principles and billing workflows
* Ability to work on the phone 100% of the time
* Excellent time management skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
* Clear, professional communication skills
* Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
* Effective multitasker, both independent and team-oriented
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
* Knowledge of dental management software and industry-specific billing processes
* Certification in customer service or a related field
* Bilingual or multilingual skills
**Work Environment:**
* This is a remote position within the United States, requiring a dedicated home workspace with minimal distractions
* The shift for this position is 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM Mountain Time, Monday - Friday
* Travel is typically less than 10%, with occasional meetings and training sessions
**Compensation and Benefits:**
* Competitive starting base salary range of $15.75 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience
