We are passionate about creating engaging experiences for our viewers, and we are always looking for talented individuals to join our team. **Job Summary** As an External Support Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing technical support to content teams, creating reference materials and training programs, and solving complex issues with tools and workflows. You will work closely with the tools engineering team to develop tools and processes that improve efficiency and quality, and will partner with other engineers to drive features from concept to completion. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for problem-solving, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Essential Functions/Responsibilities** * Provide technical support to content/external teams in regard to use of content tools, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with tools and workflows * Create reference materials and provide training to get external teams up to speed with the toolset, including documentation and user guides * Solve and debug possible issues with tools and workflows to quickly resolve issues for users, and escalate more complex or problematic issues to the tool development team * Work with production to track issues in JIRA, and collaborate with the tools engineering team to resolve these issues efficiently * Advocate for tools, workflow improvements, and suggestions from external teams, and partner with other engineers to develop tools and processes that improve efficiency and quality * Guide or lead cross-disciplinary dialogs to drive features from initial concept to completion, and exemplify reliability, accountability, and professionalism in all work-related interactions **Skills and Abilities** * Ability to read and understand C# code, and experience with Unity 3D game and tool development * Good written and verbal communication, including working with external partners and stakeholders * Positive attitude and ability to receive and provide objective and constructive feedback, and excellent organizational skills * Self-motivating, with the ability to prioritize and manage numerous requests simultaneously * Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other defect-tracking software, and iOS and Android mobile development experience **Education and Experience** * Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent work experience * Experience supporting a live service or tool environment, and 5 years experience in delivering production-level code in a professional environment * Familiarity with arenaflex's tools and workflows, and experience working in a similar role **Position Type/Expected Hours of Work** Our core hours are 10:00 am to 6:00 pm CST, which means you should be available for meetings and other work-related activities during this time. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location.
