**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Data Protection & Privacy Analyst to join our Digital Technology group. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of arenaflex's data assets. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain data protection and privacy controls, policies, and procedures.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Analyze and assess data protection and privacy risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
* Design, implement, and maintain data protection and privacy controls, policies, and procedures
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations
* Develop and maintain data protection and privacy awareness programs for arenaflex employees
* Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure data protection and privacy controls are effective
* Provide guidance and support to arenaflex employees on data protection and privacy best practices
* Stay up-to-date with emerging data protection and privacy trends and technologies
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
* 3+ years of experience in a STEM-related field, with a focus on data protection and privacy
* Understanding of data protection and privacy requirements and policies, both locally, nationally, and internationally
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all levels of management
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment to strict deadlines, with the potential to handle multiple tasks concurrently
* Must be legally eligible to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
* Reliable, punctual attendance is a critical aspect of this role
**Preferred Qualifications**
* CISA certification
* Knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols, and network security
* Knowledge of security engineering and architecture principles
* Knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic key control principles
* Ability to interpret noncompliance to determine its impact on levels of risk and/or average effectiveness of the organization's cybersecurity program
* Hands-on experience with data protection and privacy vendors, tools, and product capabilities
