As a Data Entry/Customer Support Specialist at careerzynith, you will play a vital role in supporting job seekers in achieving their career goals. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Reviewing customer applications and updating their status in a timely and accurate manner
• Communicating with advisors about missing documents and ensuring that all necessary information is provided
• Helping customers with job applications, system registration, and document uploads, providing clear guidance and support throughout the process
• Encouraging workshop participation and explaining career center services to job seekers
• Guiding job seekers based on their needs and making referrals to relevant resources and services
• Listening to requests and directing customers to the right resources, providing friendly and timely service
• Supporting excellent customer service and gathering feedback to improve our services
• Working well with the team and contributing to tasks and projects as needed
• Providing clear job search guidance and program information to job seekers
• *Qualifications:**
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
• Experience in a fast-paced public environment, such as a career center or job search organization
• Excellent writing skills and experience with resumes, with the ability to provide clear and concise guidance to job seekers
• Familiarity with job search websites and labor market tools, with the ability to provide expert advice and support
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, social media, and web search, with the ability to provide computer guidance and support to job seekers
• Team player with a pleasant personality and strong work ethic, with the ability to work well with others and contribute to tasks and projects as needed
• Proficient in Excel and able to provide computer guidance and support to job seekers
• Training on the system of record will be provided, but prior experience with similar systems is an asset
• *Must be able to drive to any office location in all area counties (Clayton, Douglas, Henry, Fayette, Gwinnett, and the ARC downtown location) occasionally as needed to meet project needs**
