**Job Summary**
We're seeking a highly skilled Data Entry Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for processing incoming healthcare claim forms, digitalizing them, and accurately inputting details into our systems. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that all claims are processed efficiently and accurately, meeting the expected keystrokes per hour or words per minute standards.
**Responsibilities**
* Capture and validate complex data from various sources
* Classify and index images using our proprietary systems
* Pre-adjudicate documents and correct data as required
* Verify data from automated data extraction tools
* Utilize various systems to work on assigned tasks
* Complete assignments using multiple source documents to verify data or use additional information to do the work
* Work within established procedures and practices
* Work under close supervision to ensure high-quality results
**Requirements**
* Must be able to type at least 45+ WPM with high accuracy
* Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and internet research
* Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining high accuracy rates
* Maintain or exceed 4,000 ksph for numeric and 2,500 ksph alpha/numeric with less than 1% error rate
* Basic knowledge of medical claims form processing is preferred
* Experience working through VPN connections is a plus
* Must be at least 18 years of age or older
* Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
* Must be eligible to work in the United States
* Must be able to clear any necessary criminal background checks or drug screenings
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in a data entry or claims processing environment
* Familiarity with medical terminology and claims processing procedures
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
