**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Associate to join our remote team in San Antonio, TX. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for processing incoming healthcare claim forms, capturing and validating complex data, and utilizing various systems to work on assigned tasks. **Responsibilities**
As a Data Entry Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Capturing and validating more complex data with high accuracy
* Image classification and indexing
* Pre-adjudicating documents and correcting data as required
* Verifying data from automated data extraction tools
* Utilizing various systems to work on assigned tasks
* Completing assignments using multiple source documents to verify data or use additional information to do the work
* Working within established procedures and practices
* Working under close supervision
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Must be able to type at least 45+ WPM with high accuracy
* 10-key by touch proficiency
* Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and internet research
* Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines while performing functions with high accuracy rate
* Maintain or exceed 4,000 ksph for numeric, and 2,500 ksph alpha/numeric with less than 1% error rate
* Basic knowledge of medical claims form processing preferred
* Experience working through VPN connection
* Must be at least 18 years of age or older
* Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
* Must be eligible to work in the United States
* Must be able to clear any necessary criminal background checks or drug screenings
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
* Experience working in a data entry or claims processing environment
* Familiarity with medical claims form processing software and systems
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
