What You'll Bring to arenaflex
We're looking for candidates who demonstrate exceptional aptitude in data engineering concepts, database design, ETL processes, and data mining. Essential Technical Skills:
- Programming Proficiency: Strong capability in working with data technologies including SQL, Python, and Scala. Experience with additional programming languages is a plus.
- Big Data Technologies: Hands-on experience with Hadoop and related distributed computing frameworks. Familiarity with modern data processing architectures is essential.
- ETL Tools & Data Streaming: Proficiency with ETL tools such as Apache Flink and experience in real-time text processing using Apache Kafka.
- Database Expertise: Solid skills working with relational databases (including Azure SQL) and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra.
- Cloud Platform Experience: Working knowledge of cloud computing services like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure, as well as distributed storage systems including Hive and Elasticsearch.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes for deploying and managing containerized applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Pipeline Development: Build and maintain robust, flexible data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and storing large volumes of data to support advertising operations on arenaflex.com and its subsidiaries.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Work on cloud platforms like Azure and Google Cloud for data storage, processing, and analysis. Leverage your expertise to optimize cloud resource utilization and cost efficiency.
- Application Deployment: Create and deploy large-scale, containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes across public cloud environments including Google GCP and Microsoft Azure.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other scrum teams, QA, Product, Program Management, and Partner Operations, while working alongside cross-functional enterprise development teams.
- On-Call Support: Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation schedules to investigate and resolve production issues across cross-functional teams, ensuring system reliability and minimal downtime.
- Data Modeling: Design and implement data models for efficient storage and retrieval, optimizing for performance and scalability.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to enhance existing workflows, tools, and systems to improve overall team productivity and system performance.
