As a key member of our team, you'll provide exceptional telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Coordinating and processing new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits * Translating and entering new or refill prescriptions into our pharmacy information system * Communicating and collecting copay amounts, obtaining authorizations, and working with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues * Demonstrating superb communication skills to effectively interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners to ensure timely processing of specialty medications and meet financial and clinical expectations **Key Responsibilities** * Provide exceptional telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy * Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits * Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into our pharmacy information system * Communicate and collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues * Demonstrate superb communication skills to effectively interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners * Ensure timely processing of specialty medications and meet financial and clinical expectations **Essential Qualifications** * One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone * One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications * One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude * Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent **Preferred Qualifications** * Pre-existing healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology * Experience working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrating compassionate, genuine care for patients and customers **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications * Strong computer keyboarding skills and aptitude **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
