We're now seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team and play a vital role in our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy. **Job Summary:** As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of arenaflex, providing top-notch phone support to patients receiving life-saving specialty medication treatment. You will be responsible for the overall coordination and handling of new prescription requests and reorders, including verifying and renewing benefits. You will also assist our patients with deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into our pharmacy data system, processing and collecting copay amounts, obtaining approvals, and collaborating with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and approve orders with records of sales or clinical issues. **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide exceptional phone support to patients receiving specialty medication treatment, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. * Coordinate and handle new prescription requests and reorders, including verifying and renewing benefits, and ensuring that financial and clinical expectations are met prior to fulfillment. * Assist patients with deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into our pharmacy data system, processing and collecting copay amounts, and obtaining approvals. * Collaborate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and approve orders with records of sales or clinical issues. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, insurance companies, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and resolution of issues. * Stay up-to-date with changing regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and provide accurate information to patients and stakeholders. **Essential Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare, business, communications) * One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs via telephone * One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications * One year of PC keyboarding experience, skills, and proficiency **Preferred Qualifications:** * Healthcare work experience and knowledge of benefits, insurance, medications, and clinical terminology * Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, insurance companies, and internal stakeholders **Skills and Competencies:** * Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional support and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, insurance companies, and internal stakeholders * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail * Strong technical skills, with the ability to navigate Windows-based applications and use email and web navigation tools effectively **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
