As a remote CSR, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's passionate about making a difference in the lives of our customers. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for: * Answering incoming calls and assisting callers with inquiries related to payment or policy status, as well as correspondence received from arenaflex * Providing information and assistance to customers or brokers who visit our front desk * Handling agency licensing transactions, including registering new brokers, address changes, and agency mergers * Researching and resolving customer or broker questions and problems * Following up with other departments to resolve problem files * Inputting data in a desktop database for all incoming calls * Assisting customers at the front desk when necessary * Distributing faxes and other correspondence to the department * Facilitating the processing of evidence of insurance requests as required * Participating in individual and group training designed to improve service * Performing additional duties or special projects as assigned **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * A high school diploma and basic computer skills * 1 year of insurance experience (coverage knowledge) and customer service/call center experience * Excellent communication skills, with a strong emphasis on phone skills * Good interpersonal skills (both internal and external) and the ability to work well in a team environment * The ability to perform slightly varied moderately complex tasks with minimal supervision * Sound decision-making skills * Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset: * Experience working in a call center environment * Knowledge of insurance industry terminology and regulations * Familiarity with desktop databases and software applications * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you'll need to possess: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines * Strong technical skills, including proficiency in desktop databases and software applications **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
