We're a company that puts our heart into caring for our colleagues and our communities, and we're looking for like-minded individuals to join our team. **Position Summary** We're currently recruiting top talent for our Medicare Retiree Solution Customer Service Centers in the Houston area. This position will involve 13 weeks of onsite training, followed by fully remote work. During the training period, you'll work a standard 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, with a start time between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM and an end time as late as 6:00 PM CST. Once training is complete, you'll continue to work a 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM CST shift from home, with a non-negotiable hourly rate of $17.50. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for: * Educating plan benefits, answering questions, and resolving issues based on incoming telephone member contacts * Utilizing compliant documentation standards to ensure accurate and timely resolution of member inquiries * Providing empathetic and member-centric service, exceeding our members' expectations and ensuring that every member is shown respect, kindness, and all questions are thoroughly answered/resolved * Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide exceptional service to our members **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need to demonstrate: * Empathy and compassion in all interactions with members * Patience and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Basic computer, typing, and telephony skills, or equivalent military experience * A high school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, we prefer candidates with: * Customer service experience, preferably in a health care setting * A strong understanding of Medicare benefits and regulations **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
