**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing telephone assistance to Aetna Medicaid members and providers. You'll assist with a range of inquiries, including eligibility, provider changes, and requests for ID cards. We're committed to delivering an exceptional experience to our callers, and we're looking for someone who shares our passion for customer service.
**Responsibilities**
* Answer incoming member and provider calls and respond to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs
* Provide accurate and timely information to members and providers, ensuring a positive and respectful experience
* Utilize high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable (Wi-Fi is not permitted)
* Meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide exceptional customer service
* Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
**Requirements**
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Ability to communicate effectively with members and providers orally and in written form
* Strong customer service skills, with a focus on empathy, active listening, and problem-solving
* Ability to work from home and prove self-sufficiency
* Ability to commute to the office in Charleston, WV when unable to work from home due to prolonged technical problems
* Reliable high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working remotely in a call center setting
* Experience with Medicaid and Medicare
* Strong knowledge of healthcare benefits and services
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
