**About This Opportunity**
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative - Collections to join our remote team. As a critical member of our collections team, you'll be responsible for collecting on low-risk accounts, assisting customers in understanding their financial obligations, and providing guidance to limit losses to the bank. You'll work in a fast-paced, independent environment, requiring strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills.
**Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative - Collections, you'll be responsible for:
* Collecting on low-risk accounts to minimize delinquency rates
* Assisting customers in a professional and empathetic manner to interpret their financial situation and provide guidance
* Negotiating repayment options and handling incoming and outgoing calls
* Maintaining accurate documentation and account maintenance
* Performing other duties as assigned
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* 1+ year customer service experience required
* Collections experience preferred
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
* Strong attention to detail, organized, and motivated self-starter
* Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
**Schedule**
As a remote employee, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. Our schedule is designed to accommodate your needs, with:
* Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 7:00pm
* Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
* Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm
* Weekly flexible prime-time hours required
**Compensation and Benefits**
