**Position Details**
* **Work Schedule:** Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
* **Contract to Perm:** If an associate is made permanent and meets departmental standards, they'll have the option to work from home.
* **Local candidates:** We're looking for candidates who are local to the area.
* **Equipment:** We'll provide the necessary equipment for you to succeed in this role.
* **Preferred skills:** Communication, problem-solving, active listening, leadership, adaptability, and patience.
**Duties**
As an Experienced Customer Service Advocate II, your primary responsibility will be handling customer service calls from providers and members. Your duties will include:
* **Providing prompt, accurate, thorough, and courteous responses** to all customer inquiries.
* **Performing research** as needed to resolve inquiries.
* **Ensuring effective customer relations** by responding accurately, timely, and courteously to telephone, written, web, or walk-in inquiries.
* **Initiating or processing adjustments** or performing other research as needed to resolve inquiries.
* **Providing feedback** to management regarding customer problems, questions, and needs.
* **Maintaining accurate records** on complaints and/or other customer comments, and making recommendations for changes to management.
* **Following through** on complaints until resolved or reporting to management as needed.
* **Maintaining basic knowledge** of quality work instructions and company policies.
* **Assisting with process improvements** through the recommendation of changes in procedures and techniques discovered during daily operations.
* **Maintaining all departmental productivity, quality, and timeliness standards.**
**Required Skills and Abilities**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* **High School Diploma or equivalent**.
* **Preferred Education:** Associate Degree.
* **1 year of claims processing or customer service experience** or a Bachelor's Degree in lieu of work experience.
* **Preferred Work Experience:** 3 years of customer service or call center experience.
* **Excellent verbal and written communication skills**.
* **Proficient spelling, punctuation, and grammar**.
* **Strong human relations and organizational skills**.
* **Ability to handle high stress situations**.
* **Good judgment**.
* **Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion**.
* **Ability to learn and operate multiple computer systems effectively and efficiently**.
**Software and Tools**
You'll need to be proficient in:
* **Basic computer operating skills**.
* **Preferred Software and Other Tools:** Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
* **Standard office equipment**.
**Work Environment**
You'll be working in a typical office environment.

We offer a competitive salary range of $11.63/hour – $15.50/hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including:
