**The Opportunity**
As a Customer Engagement Specialist, you'll be part of our Professional Learning Team, working closely with teachers, administrators, and students to promote our brand and drive student adoption. You'll lead workshops and informational sessions, facilitate teacher enablement trainings, and nurture relationships with key Paper champions and teachers on the ground. This is a part-time, 12-month contract position, requiring travel to schools within the identified region (west Los Angeles area in California).
**Responsibilities**
* Lead workshops and informational sessions to build excitement and spread arenaflex brand awareness across district communities
* Facilitate teacher enablement trainings to educate teachers and administrators about arenaflex implementation at the classroom and site level
* Grow and nurture relationships with key arenaflex champions and teachers on the ground by providing them with the most up-to-date resources
* Help expand our grassroots approach to experiential teacher education and district-wide engagement
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including teachers, administrators, and district leaders
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement marketing and outreach strategies
* Analyze data and metrics to inform program development and evaluation
**Requirements**
* 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in education
* Comfortable speaking in front of and engaging with large groups
* Has working knowledge of K-12 education industry
* Laptop and phone that can be used for work purposes (developing slide decks, presenting to districts, communicating cross-functionally)
* Proficient in using Twitter and staying current on social media platforms and trends
* Outgoing individual with strong communication skills who is energized by engaging with customers, especially teacher and parent communities
* High energy and ability to build excitement with customers
* Self-starter who loves a challenge and a strong team player who loves to collaborate
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience leading professional development within a district
* Experience leading virtual gamified events within a school district
* Familiarity with arenaflex's Educational Support System and its components (Personalized Tutoring, Practice Center, College and Career Readiness)
**Compensation & Benefits**
* Competitive salary, $35/hour for your prep and facilitation time
* Ability to keep all travel points for hotels booked for work-related travel
* Mileage reimbursement may be available for applicable travel
