We are now seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team on a part-time basis, working remotely and enjoying a competitive hourly rate of $26.
About the Role
The Business Analyst will play a critical role in supporting our business operations by providing data-driven insights and analysis. This is a cross-functional position that will involve working closely with various teams, including Sales, Field Operations, Product Development, Finance, and Marketing. The successful candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, with a focus on data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct pre- and post-analysis of customer programs, strategic initiatives, new product launches, operational changes, and marketing campaigns to inform business decisions
• Design and implement testing frameworks (e.g., A/B Testing) to evaluate the performance of pilot projects
• Maintain and update business tools and models (e.g., BPM, Course Planning) to meet business requirements
• Identify errors, discrepancies, and gaps in reporting and processes, and provide solutions to address these issues
• Proactively analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
• Support the development of blithequark tools to improve financial targets and enhance value chain capabilities
• Develop business cases and models based on historical data and business needs
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required, and create executive summaries and presentations
• Perform other related and assigned duties as necessary
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, or Operations, with a focus on analysis, modeling, or forecasting
• Management Consulting or Engineering experience is highly desirable
• Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLookups, and modeling capabilities
• Strong data education and data visualization skills using tools like Tableau or Microsoft Power BI
• Proficiency in other MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Access, Word, Visio)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of Profit and Loss Statement
• Ability to balance long-term and short-term needs, managing multiple complex projects
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and support various stakeholders
• Strong change management skills and a commitment to continuous improvement
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a high level of accountability
• Able to demonstrate entrepreneurial thinking to drive growth in overall system benefit
Preferred Qualifications
• Advanced Excel skills, including Visual Basic, simulations, solver, and SQL
• Statistical analysis using R or similar tools
• Knowledge of Edge Minder (Notable Intelligent Digger) or other data mining/sales reporting tools
• Knowledge of SharePoint
• Operational understanding of selling, distribution, warehousing, and production processes
• Project management or service experience
