**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant / Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team, working on a part-time basis. As a key member of our administrative department, you'll be responsible for performing high-volume data entry tasks, maintaining databases, and providing administrative support to our team. **Responsibilities and Duties**
As an Administrative Assistant / Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for:
* Creating spreadsheets to track important information and sales
* Maintaining databases by entering new and updated account information
* Maintaining data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures
* Verifying entered account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data
* Providing occasional administrative support
* Assisting with special projects that require large amounts of data entry
* Performing data entry in EMR
* Preparing information for data entry
* Performing entry-level support for the data entry function
* Performing data entry on computers
* Performing data entry of credits
* Providing entry-level administrative support to the data entry function
* Performing high-volume data entry work
* Performing data entry of new applications
* Completing clerical functions or data entry tasks
* Performing data entry duties typing, faxing
* Deleting data entry errors and entering corrections
* Maintaining data entry requirements by following data program techniques
* Training new data entry employees on computer systems
* Performing routine clerical and data entry functions
* Ensuring timely data entry and file management
* Operating data entry devices to perform a variety of keypunching data entry and verification duties
* Establishing data entry procedures for each client
* Reviewing and verifying data prior to entry
* Performing daily audits and data entry corrections
**Key Skills and Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Excellent typing skills (at least 60 wpm)
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Experience with Microsoft Excel (a plus)
* Experience in data entry (at least 1 year)
* Basic PC skills and proficiency with internet applications
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with data entry software and systems
* Familiarity with EMR systems
* Experience in a similar role or industry
* Certification in data entry or a related field
