Entry Level Architectural Designer

As an Entry Level Architectural Designer, you will provide support on critical projects, helping to create innovative building designs and drawings while fostering a culture of continuous learning and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to teams on critical projects
• Create multiple building designs and drawings through freehand sketch and design software
• Scale, model and construct work for clients across the globe
• Engage with Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teammates to maximize project outcomes
• Support and engage with teams across the globe

Skills

• In pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited program
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• 3.0 GPA
• Strong architectural design and graphic skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within the team as well as independently
• Knowledge of and/or proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Rhinoceros, Grasshopper and Photoshop
• Experience with performance modeling software, such as Ladybug, Honeybee, Energy Plus and WUFI
• Experience with rendering software -e.g. V-Ray, Enscape, - and Bluebeam
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• A previous internship, or professional work experience related to your field of study
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs
• Self-driven time management and organizational skills
• A portfolio of applicable recent design work
