Job Description:

As an editorial intern with Boston magazine, you’ll play a crucial role in the magazine’s production, gaining experience in fact-checking, writing, research and more. The ideal candidate for this role is a self-starter who can manage their time well, juggling various tasks and deadlines at once, with a passion for local magazine journalism and all things Boston.

This is a part-time role, with 25 hours expected per week.

This is a remote, part-time internship with opportunities for in-person work sporadically throughout the semester at the Boston Globe’s 53 State Street office. The BGMP office is located in downtown Boston, near Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market, and is easily accessible by MBTA and commuter rail lines. For this role, we will consider candidates who are based anywhere in the United States.

The hourly rate for this role is $26.60. 

This position is a union position covered by a collective bargaining agreement with the Boston Newspaper Guild.
