Strada is a multi-disciplinary design firm seeking an entry-level architectural Designer in their Philadelphia studio. The role involves engaging in the collaborative design process, researching materials and systems, and assisting team members in construction detailing and production.
Responsibilities
- Engage in the collaborative design process
- Research material and systems for integration into design solutions
- Prioritize tasks while responding to changing needs and schedules
- Develop facility with 3D modeling and design software
- Prepare presentation materials
- Assist team members in construction detailing and production
- Proactively maintain and prioritize deadlines
Skills
- Degree from an NAAB-accredited program
- Strong design sensitivity
- Ability to assess information and translate it into creative solutions
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proactive, resourceful self-starter
- Passionate about learning and growing professionally
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Familiarity with Rendering and BIM software
- Previous design firm experience a plus
