Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain Oracle NetSuite and Oracle EPM databases, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.
- Manage SQL Server 2019 and Azure SQL Server instances, including provisioning, monitoring, backup/recovery, patching, and performance tuning.
- Administer MySQL databases, including configuration, replication, and optimization.
- Manage Azure Gen2 Data Lake storage, ensuring proper data ingestion, organization, security, and accessibility for analytics workloads.
- Institute best practices for data availability, ensuring high uptime, disaster recovery readiness, and business continuity.
- Ensure data validity through implementation of data quality checks, validation rules, and integrity constraints.
- Establish and monitor data security protocols, including access controls, encryption, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Optimize database performance for analytics workloads and reporting queries.
- Monitor database performance metrics and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Implement automated monitoring and alerting systems for database health and availability.
- Design and test backup and recovery strategies for all database platforms.
- Serve as point of escalation for critical database incidents and outages.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of certifications with 5+ years of hands-on database administration experience
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with Oracle NetSuite and Oracle EPM administration
- Strong technical database expertise with a strategic mindset for data management and governance
- Strong expertise in SQL Server and Azure SQL Server administration
- Experience managing Azure Gen2 Data Lake storage and data ingestion pipelines
- Experience with MySQL database administration and optimization
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience with any data visualization tools (PowerBI/Tableau/Qlik)
- Experience with ETL processes and tools
- Experience with Office 365 automation apps (Power Automate, Flow, Power Apps)
- Highly organized with an aptitude for problem-solving
- Great time management
- Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
