Join arenaflex: Where Data Excellence Meets Manufacturing Innovation
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and looking for a long-term remote opportunity where your contributions truly matter? arenaflex, a woman-owned manufacturers' sales representative firm serving the New England and Pennsylvania territories, is seeking a talented Data Entry & Processing Specialist to join our growing team. If you reside in Pennsylvania or New Hampshire and thrive in a collaborative, small-business environment, we want to hear from you!
At arenaflex, we pride ourselves on being more than just a sales representative firm—we are trusted partners to manufacturers across the region, connecting them with the businesses and professionals who need their products and expertise. Our team is tight-knit, supportive, and committed to excellence in everything we do. We believe in promoting from within and investing in the long-term growth of our employees. This isn't just a job; it's an opportunity to build a career with a company that values your skills, your time, and your potential.
Position Overview
We are excited to announce an opening for a Data Entry & Processing Specialist to support our operations team. This is a primarily remote position (work from home) with an expectation that you physically reside within Pennsylvania or New Hampshire to provide occasional in-person support at local functions such as bi-annual trade shows and manufacturer site visits. While the role begins at 15-20 hours per week, we anticipate and encourage growth in responsibilities and hours for the right candidate. This is a long-term, stable position with genuine potential for advancement.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, managing their time effectively, and maintaining a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment. You will be the backbone of our operational efficiency, ensuring that critical business information is entered into our database in real time and maintained with precision. If you're looking for a temporary gig, this is not the right fit—but if you're seeking a lasting career with a company that invests in its people, read on!
Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry & Processing Specialist at arenaflex, your daily activities will be varied, engaging, and essential to our business operations. Here's what you can expect:
- Real-Time Data Entry: Enter and process critical business information—including quote requests, new company and contact records, and incoming purchase orders—into our database as it arrives. Accuracy and speed are equally important here, as the information you input directly impacts our team's ability to serve our manufacturers and customers effectively.
- Database Maintenance: Keep our information current and reliable by regularly updating contact details, job titles, quote statuses, shipment tracking information, and other pertinent records. You'll help ensure our team always has access to accurate, up-to-date data.
- Communication with Manufacturers: Send emails and make phone calls to our manufacturing partners during standard business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time). Clear, professional communication is essential to maintaining our strong relationships.
- Occasional In-Person Support: As a Pennsylvania or New Hampshire resident, you will occasionally attend local functions such as trade shows, client meetings, and manufacturer site visits to provide on-site support. This is a small but important part of the role that helps strengthen our local presence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our sales and operations teams to ensure seamless workflows and provide administrative support as needed. Your role will touch multiple aspects of the business, making you an invaluable part of the arenaflex family.
- Quality Assurance: Proactively identify and flag any data inconsistencies, duplicate records, or potential errors. Take ownership of data integrity and suggest improvements to our processes when opportunities arise.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Residency: You must live or reside within Pennsylvania or New Hampshire. This is a non-negotiable requirement due to the occasional need for in-person support at local events.
- Experience: Prior experience in data entry, administrative support, or a similar role is strongly preferred. However, we value attitude and aptitude just as much as background—if you're a quick learner with exceptional attention to detail, we encourage you to apply.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using computers and standard business software. Experience with database management systems is a plus, but we provide training for the right candidate.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. You'll be corresponding with manufacturers and internal teams, so professionalism and clarity are essential.
- Availability: Must be available during business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time) to communicate with team members and manufacturers via email and phone.
- Commitment to Long-Term Employment: We are seeking someone interested in a lasting career, not a temporary position. If you're looking for short-term work, please do not apply.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would make you an even stronger candidate:
- Experience working in a small business or start-up environment where versatility and adaptability are valued.
- Background in the manufacturing, sales, or distribution industry.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
- Experience coordinating or supporting trade shows, conferences, or in-person events.
- Basic understanding of industrial products or manufacturing processes.
- Proven track record of maintaining high accuracy rates in data entry or administrative roles.
Skills and Competencies
Beyond formal qualifications, we look for candidates who demonstrate the following skills and competencies:
- Attention to Detail: The ability to catch errors, maintain consistency, and ensure data integrity is absolutely critical in this role. Small mistakes can have big ripple effects in our industry.
- Time Management: With the ability to work independently and manage your own schedule, strong time management skills are essential. You'll need to balance real-time data entry with ongoing maintenance tasks.
- Reliability: Our team depends on you. Being dependable, punctual, and responsive is a must.
- Proactive Mindset: We value team members who don't just complete their tasks—they look for ways to improve processes, identify issues before they become problems, and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Adaptability: As a small business, things can change quickly. The ability to pivot, learn new skills, and take on new responsibilities is highly valued at arenaflex.
- Team Player: Even though this is a remote position, you'll be an integral part of our team. Collaborative attitudes and a supportive spirit are essential.
Career Growth and Development Opportunities
At arenaflex, we believe in nurturing talent and helping our employees grow. Here's what you can expect from your career journey with us:
Path to Advancement: This position is designed with growth in mind. As you demonstrate competence and dedication, we anticipate expanding your responsibilities and hours. Skill Development: We invest in our people. You'll have opportunities to learn new systems, processes, and industry knowledge that will serve you well throughout your career.
Cross-Training: As your role expands, you may have the chance to gain experience in sales support, customer relations, event coordination, and other areas of our business.

arenaflex is a woman-owned small business with a family-like culture. Even though our team works remotely, we maintain strong connections through regular communication, team collaboration, and occasional in-person gatherings. Here's what you can expect:
- Remote Flexibility: Enjoy the convenience of working from home while still being part of a supportive team. We trust our employees to manage their schedules and deliver results.
- Collaborative Atmosphere: Despite being remote, you'll never feel like you're working alone. Our team communicates regularly and is always ready to lend a hand.
- Work-Life Balance: We respect your time and understand the importance of balance. Our standard business hours provide structure while allowing you to maintain a healthy personal life.
- In-Person Connection: The occasional local events (trade shows, site visits) provide valuable opportunities to meet your colleagues and manufacturing partners in person, building relationships that enrich your work experience.
- Inclusive Values: As a woman-owned business, we value diversity, equity, and inclusion. We believe different perspectives make us stronger and more innovative.
Compensation and Benefits
