Position Overview: Data Entry Clerk
We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Data Entry Clerk to manage our financial data entry, accounts receivable operations, and invoicing processes. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Tampa, Florida (33634). The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and have strong attention to detail along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and takes pride in maintaining accuracy and efficiency. As a member of our Finance Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our financial data and supporting the overall operations of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Data Entry & Management: Enter received check data accurately and efficiently into arenaflex's proprietary system, ensuring all information is recorded correctly and in a timely manner.
- Accounts Receivable Support: Assist with accounts receivable functions, including check reconciliation, A/R follow-up, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
- Invoice Creation: Create both paper and electronic invoices from source documents, ensuring all pricing, costs, and margins are calculated correctly and entered into the system.
- Invoice Matching & Reconciliation: Match invoices to checks in a high-volume environment and reconcile any discrepancies between paid and billed amounts.
- Provider Invoicing: Create provider invoices and reconcile them against invoices received, identifying and resolving any inconsistencies.
- Documentation & Filing: Maintain organized files and documentation, ensuring all records are properly stored and easily accessible.
- Communication: Professionally communicate with payers and internal stakeholders via email and telephone to resolve billing discrepancies and provide excellent customer service.
- Team Support: Assist the Finance department with additional functions as needed, including mailing checks, filing, and other administrative tasks.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisors, Team Leads, or members of management.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous data entry experience is preferred, but we welcome eager learners who demonstrate strong organizational skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with strong emphasis on Excel (spreadsheets, formulas, data management).
- Internet Proficiency: Comfortable navigating web-based systems and applications.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and the ability to spot discrepancies quickly.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and external parties.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to team goals.
Preferred Qualifications
