We are currently seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our Studio Research & Analytics team, supporting our streaming platform's product, marketing, and content curation initiatives.

Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and analytically minded professional to join our team as a Data Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our streaming platform's product development, marketing strategies, and content curation efforts through comprehensive data analysis and research initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to synthesize complex datasets into meaningful insights that drive key business decisions.
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring in-person collaboration from Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays. This balanced approach allows you to benefit from both collaborative in-office dynamics and the convenience of remote work.
Key Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in supporting our streaming platform's success through the following responsibilities:
- Research Support: Assist with a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research activities, including data collection, cleaning, and preparation. Extract and analyze data from multiple sources to create comprehensive summaries, tables, and report sections that inform strategic decisions.
- Data Integration: Combine disparate datasets using SQL to support the daily operations of our consumer experience monitoring programs. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all analytical outputs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various internal teams to conduct research and analysis. Communicate project goals, business requirements, and timelines effectively to prioritize, innovate, and optimize our datasets.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with research counterparts within the team and across different divisions of the organization, as well as external vendors.
- Analysis and Reporting: Analyze and prepare ongoing and ad-hoc reports using quantitative and qualitative data for various teams in product marketing, engagement, and product strategy.
- Project Management: Manage assigned projects, implement quality assurance processes, and report obligations and status to supervisors to ensure completion within established timeframes.
- Strategic Insights: Work with senior leadership to ensure that all findings are strategically actionable and drive key decision-making processes.
- Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with the team and analytics agencies within Snowflake and Databricks environments to maintain and enhance our analytical capabilities.
- Documentation: Maintain updated verbal and written understanding of data points and requirements to ensure clarity and consistency across the organization.
- Client Support: Respond to critical information requests from internal clients in a timely and accurate manner.
- Presentation: Support the presentation of findings based on research conducted and contribute to related business discussions.
- Industry Awareness: Stay at the forefront of streaming and in-home business trends amidst a constantly evolving landscape.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Sciences, or a related discipline, with three years of relevant work experience OR a Master's Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Sciences, or a related discipline, with one year of relevant work experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SQL, with the ability to extract and integrate disparate data sources effectively.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong quantitative reasoning and analytical skills, with the capability to extract data and integrate with other data sources to develop a rich, complete picture for the business.
- Work Environment: Ability to work rapidly and accurately in a fast-moving environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Communication: Outstanding communication and critical thinking abilities, along with the capability to create clear and concise visual presentations.
- Multitasking: Strong multitasking abilities and the capability to work effectively in an environment of tight timeframes and constant change.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be highly advantageous:
- Proficiency in data processing tools such as SPSS, Q, or MarketSight
- Experience with survey tools including Decipher, Qualtrics, or SurveyMonkey
- Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, ideally cloud-based, including Snowflake, Databricks, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with programming languages such as R, Python, SAS, or STATA
- Advanced degree in Market Research or Statistics
- Quantitative research background, either supplier-side or client-side
- Experience with analyzing survey data to extract actionable insights
- Experience with subscription-based business models and strategy
