What You'll Do
As a Customer Service Representative on our PBM team, your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional support to members regarding their pharmacy benefit plans. Here's what a typical day might look like:
- Handle Inbound Calls: Respond to incoming calls from members seeking information about their prescription insurance coverage, medication options, and pharmacy benefits
- Answer Questions: Address inquiries about prescription coverage, including formulary questions, prior authorization requirements, and cost-sharing information
- Explain Mail Order Services: Guide members through our mail order prescription process, helping them understand how to transfer prescriptions and manage their medications conveniently
- Resolve First Contact: Strive to resolve member questions and concerns during the initial call, ensuring a seamless and satisfactory experience
- Educate and Advocate: Empower members with knowledge about their coverage options, helping them make informed decisions about their healthcare
- Document Interactions: Maintain accurate records of all member interactions in our customer relationship management system

Schedule and Flexibility

To be successful in this work-from-home role, you'll need to meet the following technical requirements:

Qualifications We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Customer Service Experience: Minimum of 6 months experience interacting with customers in environments such as call centers, retail, customer service, hospitality, or military experience
- Education: Verifiable High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to listen actively and speak clearly
- Computer Proficiency: Basic computer skills and comfort with learning new software systems
- Location: Must reside in one of the following states: Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, or Tennessee
Preferred Qualifications:
- Call Center Experience: 1 year or more of experience working in a call center environment
- Healthcare Background: Previous experience in a healthcare-related field
- Work-From-Home Experience: 6 months or more of working from home successfully
- Healthcare Certification: Relevant certifications such as Medical Assistant or other healthcare credentials are a plus
- Pharmacy Knowledge: Familiarity with pharmacy terminology and prescription drug coverage is beneficial
