What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the face of our brand. Your primary focus will be on delivering fast, friendly, and personalized service to every customer who visits our store. Here's what you can expect in this role:
- Customer Greeting and Interaction – Warmly welcome customers as they enter the store, creating a positive first impression that sets the tone for their shopping experience.
- Register Operations – Efficiently operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle payments with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Cashiering Duties – Perform cashier responsibilities including scanning items, applying discounts, and processing returns or exchanges as needed.
- Product Recommendations – Make thoughtful purchase suggestions based on customer needs, helping them discover new products and enhancing their shopping experience.
- Food Service Program – Work with our food program, which may include preparing items, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring the food service area is clean and well-stocked.
- Store Maintenance – Help maintain our high standards for store appearance by working in various areas, both inside and outside the store, to ensure a clean, organized, and inviting environment.
- Multi-Task Across Departments – Be prepared to assist in different areas of the store as needed, from stocking shelves to helping with inventory and merchandising.
- Team Collaboration – Work as part of a cohesive team to accomplish daily tasks and goals, supporting your colleagues and contributing to overall store success.

Preferred Qualifications
While we welcome candidates from all backgrounds, the following experience and qualities are a plus:
- Prior retail and customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous sales associate or cashiering experience with demonstrated proficiency in handling transactions.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Strong motivation to advance in your career and take on new responsibilities.
- Willingness to learn new skills, embrace training opportunities, and have fun while doing so.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is helpful but not required – we provide comprehensive training!
Physical Requirements
This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to perform various tasks throughout your shift. Please review the following requirements:
- Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes during a shift.
- Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
- Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds.
- Bend at the waist with some twisting for up to one hour per shift.
- Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands – this handwork requires good eye-hand coordination.
- May require climbing a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs.

Compensation
We value your hard work and dedication. The hiring range for this position is $17.81 to $17.81 per hour, with opportunities for weekly bonuses based on performance.
