Position Overview

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative with a focus on Accounts Receivable (AR) to join our talented office staff. This is a full-time hybrid position that offers incredible flexibility while maintaining meaningful in-person collaboration. Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for outstanding customer care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Posting and Invoicing: Accurately process customer invoices and maintain detailed financial records to ensure proper billing procedures
  • Accounts Receivable Management: Contact customers regarding outstanding balances, payment inquiries, and resolution of billing discrepancies
  • Customer Service Support: Handle customer inquiries professionally via phone and text messaging, providing timely and accurate responses
  • Billing Support: Assist with billing inquiries, account adjustments, and payment processing to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to process orders, provide product information, and support the customer acquisition process
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance workflow and customer service delivery
  • Special Projects: Contribute to various initiatives and projects as needed to support organizational goals

Requirements & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to quickly learn new concepts and systems
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations and willingness to learn new software applications
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in financial transactions
  • Must be willing to submit to a comprehensive background check as part of our hiring process
  • Ability to attend in-person training at our West Orange, NJ or Sparta, NJ office location
  • A basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and fundamental formulas

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, billing, or accounts receivable roles
  • Familiarity with water purification or related industry operations
  • Experience with CRM software and accounting systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); post-secondary education is a plus
  • Previous remote work experience or comfort with virtual collaboration tools

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, with flexible start and end times
  • Remote Work: Four days per week working from the comfort of your home
  • In-Office Day: One day per week at our West Orange, NJ location for team collaboration and training
  • Training Period: Initial in-person training at our West Orange or Sparta, NJ office to ensure you have the skills and knowledge needed for success
  • Full-Time Position: 40 hours per week with potential for part-time arrangements for the right candidate

Compensation & Benefits
